A Piece of Music
Photo Series

As part of my final project for a location photography course, I created a three-part photo series titled A Piece of Music. The assignment challenged students to select a theme and apply the technical and creative skills developed throughout the semester, including balancing flash with ambient light, composing impactful imagery, and coordinating location-based shoots.
Each photograph was carefully composed to capture the distinct vibe and character of the instrument in its natural or chosen environment. From rich tones to subtle textures, every image is designed to convey the mood, story, and style that make each instrument feel alive and individual.
The project was an opportunity to apply key technical skills developed throughout the course, including balancing flash and ambient light, composing with intention, and managing on-location shoots. All images were captured on location using the Broncolor Move 1200 lighting kits, allowing for full control of light regardless of setting. From securing locations to directing subjects and fine-tuning lighting setups, I managed the full production of the series.
This project demonstrates not only my technical proficiency with lighting and equipment but also my ability to develop a cohesive visual narrative grounded in concept and execution.
- Proficiency using DSLR cameras
- Proficiency using Broncolor Move 1200 kits
